Reed Michael Hanke, son of Jeffery and Trudy Hanke, lives by the quote, "stand as the mountains and move as the waves." After school, Reed spends his time in football and track. Between these sports, Reed keeps in shape by weightlifting and running, but also makes sure he has time to hang out with friends, go out to eat, and play video games. Reed says the best part about his senior year is "the fact it's my last year of high school." The worst part is " I'm thought of as a night hawk, waking up early is not my thing." After high school, Reed's plans are to study radiology at Southwest in Lincoln and eventually make his way to UNO. Reed's favorite thing about high school is "playing badminton with Seth and Josh and scrabble with Kelly Allison." Reed also says he is "now speaking fluent Spanish from Spanish class." Reed believes he is going to miss sports the most after he graduates.
