Lady Blue Devils to Compete at Home in TVC Play

The Lady Blue Devils competed Friday, January 22, in the new Kenesaw gymnasium. After a nervous start for the team, Deidra Ground scored the first varsity points in the new gym in with 36 seconds left in the first quarter. The girls won over Franklin (31-25) and raised their record to 10-4.
Previously, the Lady Blue Devils fell to Silver Lake (33-61) and defeated Wilcox Hildreth (35-34) by one point. They lost to Lawrence Nelson (19-47) and won over Wilcox Hildreth (52-51) by one point again. Also they won over Giltner (50-45) and then lost to Lawrence Nelson (30-46).
After competition last Thursday night at Deshler, the team begins Twin Valley Conference competition at home on Monday, February 1. The Lady Blue Devils, seeded second in the Tournament, will meet the winner of Franklin-Deshler game. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
